Welcome!
The Burke Learning Centers are clean, fun and safe learning environments, staffed by neighborhood teachers who are committed to helping our children achieve their educational goals. The teachers and staff work hard to ensure and maintain a cheerful and engaging working environment at a reasonable hourly rate for your child and family.
As Parents, we all want our children to do well in school and be successful in anything they do in life including making good grades. Our children can do it, but they may need a little extra help. Let us help them!

What We Do
Our Teacher Tutors will partner with your child’s teacher to ensure success, establishing a Parent, Teacher and Tutor network that is there to invest in your child’s education.
We are open Monday - Friday 3pm until 8pm, as well as Saturdays 8am-8pm to provide one-hour sessions of instruction as needed.

Note To Parents
After a long, hectic school year, our children deserves a little downtime during the summer months, but it is important for them to continue to work on their trouble areas. As parents, finding safe, educational and affordable summer activities for our children can be frustrating, particularly when the child is ready to slam the textbooks shut for summer or track out. The Burke Learning Center is an excellent resource for summer activities, classes and programs. We offer story times for younger children and a wide variety of free or inexpensive classes for older children and teens.-KimDid you know?
Some students, on average, spend about an hour per day on homework, but most students spend countless hours each night. Sometimes it’s because he/she has some difficulty processing, understanding, or executing homework easily. When they are spending a lot of time on homework—and not producing A’s and B’s – it makes us parents feel like we are letting our children down, but we’re not. We are not teachers and sometimes we are too hard on our children because we know they can do better. So, give TBLC a try and watch what happens!
Study Hints
Select a nice, quiet and well-lit place for your children to study where they can feel comfortable but still stay alert. This will create a productive learning environment. They should have a place for reading, writing, and computer access that is clear from disruptions. Although children have different learning styles, in some cases it may not be wise to allow potential distractions such as television or music.
